Hello lovely mailing listers,
It's been such a special week, from my first Radio 1 play to finally getting to release it (and then a bigger announcement coming tomorrow!! so stay tuned for that! 💫)

It's all been super exciting and I'm so beyond grateful for all your support.

This song was written whilst looking across the sea from my home in Cornwall at little houses glowing in the night – thinking about how people that once lit up your whole room, over time become just little lights in the distance.

I wanted it to reflect the sound and magic of coastal towns so we recorded live ocean sounds from my local beach that now sit under the entire mix and we got a local shanty band (shanty bass!) to record backing vocals which you can hear in the final chorus and outro.

I'm so excited for you all to hear it and to hear what you think.
