Big secrets coming this week !! Here's some gossip for you for now 😘...

Hello lovely mailing listers, hope you're having a lovely start to your week.

This is your little mailer to say that it is officially four sleeps until my brand new EP "Gossip From A Coastal Town" comes out !!! 💃

You can pre-save the EP now so that it'll be ready and saved in your library on the big day here

I'm so so proud of this body of work and there are quite a few hidden things on the record that you'll be able to discover on the day for example...

✨ A song I co-wrote with my partner of 10 years, Tom Sparrow, called "Because of Winn Dixie" which is based on one of my favourite childhood books...

✨ A hidden song! If you listen right to the end of the final song and you'll be met with a secret sea shanty written for the record and performed by local shanty band Shanty Bass...

✨ One of the new songs "I'm Not Going To Penzance" starts with the strike of a match. This is an ode to the band "The Maccabees" who start one of their own songs in the same way. Penzance is written from the perspective of my close friend Fran and her favourite band is The Maccabees, so it felt only right to leave a little secret in there pointing toward her....

I cannot wait for you to hear these songs and also to play them for you on tour!

I begin tour in a couple weeks time so if you'd like to come see me in Falmouth, Glasgow, Manchester, Bristol, London or Dublin then you can get your tickets here

All the shows are selling quite fast (Cardiff both nights are already sold out!) so if you'd like to come then grab your tickets now so you don't miss out.

Sending loads of love and can't wait to hear what you think when the final EP comes out on Friday!!

Loads of love, Essy xoxox
