Something new for you today...

Hello lovely mailing list folks, this is an email to tell you that today my song "Footnote" is out in the world!

I am so proud of this one.
I wrote it in winter last year and it's about a feeling that I've had and that I know others will too, which is the feeling of not feeling important in someone's life and the journey that you go on when you're faced with that reality.

The final words are some of my favourites I've ever written
" I am not a footnote, I'm a forest fire. I am not a footnote, I'm a state of mind."

I hope you find them comforting if you ever worry that you aren't enough.

You are and if anyone makes you feel less than that, that is truly their loss.

It's produced by my friend and collaborator Grace Gardner and you can hear their harmonies throughout the track (which is one of my favourite parts about it)
