The Release Event You've Been Waiting For...

Hi friends, Essy here.
Since the very start of recording my EP I've been talking about doing a live gig in order to play through the songs as a celebration of this project. But I haven't wanted to rush and I've wanted to find the right venue and the right people to play with.

And I'm emailing you today because I have found those things!

I'm so excited to announce (to my mailing list subs first ofc) that on April 12th 2025 I will be hosting an evening of live music at the beautiful Sunshine Cafe in Penryn.

In their big, fancy barn-like studio (with underfloor heating might I hasten to add!!)

It will be my first time playing through the EP as a whole, it will also be my first time playing with a full band which I'm beyond excited about.

It's made up of some of the musicians that I love and admire and I can't wait for us to show you these songs live.

If the rumours are true you also might see a backing dancer or two ;)

We'll play through the EP + some songs that inspired me during the writing process and we'll play some new songs that I've recently written for release this year.

I would love for you to come along.
If you're not based in Cornwall, then you're very welcome to use this as a fun excuse to visit! I would love to see you.

Lastly some fun facts about this gig
꩜ It will be seated (I find standing for too long at a gig so stressful so don't worry we will have chairs!)
꩜ There will be crafts (I find milling around and having to make casual conversation at gigs also stressful so there will be lots to do for anyone that gets a bit anxious in crowds)
꩜ I have two amazing support acts!! Kitty Crocker and Sunfull will be opening the show before Sunfull get behind the scenes and join my band to play.
